Rafael’s passion for integrative medicine began with a simple but profound belief: the body has an innate intelligence—and when supported, nourished, and understood, it can heal in remarkable ways. This philosophy has guided his career and ultimately shaped the holistic, heart-centered approach that patients experience at the Downtown Miami Acupuncture Center.

With advanced training in fertility, hormonal balance, menstrual health, digestion, stress regulation, and mind-body medicine, Rafael has become a trusted partner for women and men preparing for conception—whether naturally or through IUI, IVF, or other assisted reproductive technologies. In addition to his fertility expertise, Rafael has extensive experience treating a wide range of acute and chronic pain conditions. Rafael holds a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine, a Bachelor’s in Health Science, and advanced certification in reproductive acupuncture.
