If you are accepted as a patient, you will be given a customized treatment plan to begin your path to wellness!

Your first visit

It is best to arrive 10 minutes before your initial consultation to complete the required paperwork.  If you park in metered parking, it is best to pay for 2 hours to avoid a parking ticket for this first visit.  Normally treatments last 45 minutes to 1 hour.  The amount of time a client relaxes with the needles in place can vary.  After your first few visit you will know how much time to allow for your treatment sessions.

What to wear?

You should wear or bring comfortable clothing with pants that can be roll up to your knees and a shirt that can expose up to your elbows.  The most effective acupuncture points in the body are from the elbows to the hands and from the knees to the feet.  This is where we place the needles.

What to bring?

Whatever makes you comfortable.  Some clients bring music players with headphones to listen to their own relaxing music or meditation music.  Some clients bring their favorite blanket to snuggle in.  Some clients prefer ear plugs to stop any noise from disturbing their treatment.  Some clients bring eye coverings to enjoy their treatment in total darkness.  What will you bring?

What not to bring

Do not bring in anything into the treatment room that may disturb the tranquility of the space.
Do not bring cells phone into the treatment room with out shutting them off.
Do not bring heavy perfumes or scents as some clients are sensitive to these smells.
Do not bring any food or drinks into the treatment room.
